Carolyn started working here as a receptionist in October of 2005. In 2009, she became the Office Manager. She loves working in the veterinary industry as it has the best of both worlds: she gets to meet with all of our wonderful clients and also gets to play and help care for their furry family members. In her spare time, she loves to see newly released movies and go for walks with her dog, Perci, in the wonderful Vegas weather.
Client Care Representative
Jessica has always had pets from the time she was a small child, but the first pet she ever had of her very own is her cute little Lhasa Apso, Moxie Muerte. She acquired Moxie from our clinic when she was a small puppy that had a rough start to life. Jessica’s favorite thing about working with animals is the way animals can be a source of relief, relaxation, or distraction in times of stress. She is involved in the punk rock music scene and loves to try new foods.
Being the daughter of a groomer, Jennifer has spent her entire life around animals. Her mother, our beloved groomer, Libby, would bring Jennifer to work regularly as a child to help her with bathing and brushing. This experience brought her to a deep love of animals, and now she has an entire farm, complete with horses, ducks, dogs, chickens, and cats, to name just a few! She is married with 2 daughters who she is raising to love animals as much as she does. When she has free time (which doesn’t happen too much with so many animals to care for) she enjoys riding her quad and horseback riding.
Stephanie Justice, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Stephanie started out at our clinic as a young girl bringing her first pet, a kitty named Monkey, for vaccinations. She always knew she wanted to work with animals when she grew up. Stephanie worked for a pet store for a year, and also as a dog groomer for another year before beginning her work with us in February of 2010. She started as a kennel assistant and worked her way up, learning how to do all jobs of the supporting staff. Stephanie graduated as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2013. The part of her job that she loves the most is performing dental cleanings and visiting with as many of our Corgi patients as possible. Stephanie has two Corgis, two Great Danes, and a cat, and enjoys taking her puppies out to the lake as often as her schedule allows.
Elizabeth Rosscup Kragh, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Elizabeth, or “Lize” as we call her, is originally from Montana. From the time she was 9 years old, she was paid to take care of animals. Lize has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and graduated in 2014 from the Veterinary Technician program at CSN, where she now teaches the Pathology and Nursing Lab classes. She may be deaf, but she doesn’t let that slow her down in the pursuit of working with animals. She has volunteered overseas, working with sea turtles and other Australian wildlife. She also assisted with a spay and neuter clinic in Vietnam. She and her partner have a Jindo and a cat together. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and trying new recipes.
Animal Care Assistant
Damon started working with animals while living in California in 1999, and has been working at American Pet Hospital since 2009. He loves socializing with the animals and getting to know them on a one-on-one basis. He becomes familiar with every animal he encounters and handles each one as if they were his own. His many years of multi-breed experience play a vital role in the care of our boarding patients. Damon is happily married with two sons, and hopes to one day own a French Bulldog.
