Several years ago heartworm wasn’t a prevalent issue here in the Las Vegas valley. However, recent studies have shown a drastic increase in the prevalence of heartworm diagnoses in our valley. Because of this, we are strongly encouraging all pet owners to take action in preventing this disease from affecting their beloved pets.
